Low on submissions - 14 Dec 2009 20:47 I'm running quite low on submissions these days. I'm starting to think that MacDesktops may be running down. [...] submissions in general are way down. [...] So, it looks like I'll be curbing back to only one new picture on some days, probably starting this week. [...]	Preferences fixed - 9 Sep 2009 0:53 I'm pretty sure that I fixed site preferences. It appears that Dreamhost changed PHP versions and/or configuration on me, probably when I had to upgrade to a virtual private server. As a result, cookies were not being retrieved successfully.	Preferences not working for some - 15 Aug 2009 10:25 I've received several reports that site preferences stopped working recently. I haven't had time to investigate yet, but hope to do so soon. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Instructions for setting a desktop picture:

MAC OS 9

View the picture you want in the resolution which matches your display.
Control-click and select "Save this Image as" to your Mac.
Go to Apple menu > Control Panel and select "Appearance".
Select "Place picture" and locate the appropriate picture.
Click "Set Desktop".

MAC OS X

View the picture you want in the resolution which matches your display.
Control-click and select "Download image to Disk".
Save image to desktop.
Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Personal section and select "Desktop".
On the "Collection" pulldown menu, go to "Choose Folder" and locate the appropriate picture.
